Florin Citu, the Prime Minister of Romania, today launched a new call for vaccination among the population, this remaining the only solution to overcome the 4th wave of infection with the Coronavirus, a wave that generates extremely many problems in this period.
Florin Citu also says that the restrictions announced by President Klaus Iohannis will be adopted only on the basis of the recommendations made by the specialists within the Romanian Government, the President still saying that they would be announced on Friday.
"We need to get vaccinated to get rid of the pandemic and, unfortunately, measures to minimize the risks as much as possible. The government will do everything in its power to ensure the legal framework, after the concrete solutions will be established with the specialists. At the same time, we provide the necessary vaccines and logistics.
We resume vaccination marathons and, in parallel, continue supplying hospitals with the necessary medicines. The key remains vaccination! We vaccinate, the pressure on hospitals decreases, we get rid of restrictions and the pandemic."
