Government of Romania ALL RESTRICTIONS New for the whole country

The Government of Romania adopted a decision of the CNSU that imposes a series of new restrictions throughout Romania to limit the spread of the Coronavirus throughout the country, and they will enter into force in the immediate following period and are very important for reducing the daily number of cases.

The Romanian government is taking these measures because there is no other solution to limit the uncontrolled spread of the Coronavirus, so various state structures will be involved to ensure that citizens comply with these measures, they are:

  • prohibiting, for a period of 30 days, the movement of people outside the home/household between 22,00:05,00 p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX a.m., with certain exceptions;
  • prohibiting, for a period of 30 days, the activity of economic operators active in the field of trade/providing services in closed and/or open spaces, between the hours of 21,00:05,00 and XNUMX:XNUMX;
  • the activity of restaurants, cafes, etc. inside the buildings and on the terraces, up to 50% of the maximum capacity of the space is allowed, in the time interval 05,00-21,00;
  • prohibition of activity in bars, clubs and discotheques for a period of 30 days, as well as the organization and conduct of private events (weddings, baptisms, festive meals, etc.), concerts and shows;
  • banning the participation of spectators in sports competitions;
  • access to all activities and events organized during the 30-day period according to this decision, to be allowed only to vaccinated or diseased persons;
  • organization of the work schedule in telework or home work for at least 50% of employees;
  • the access of visitors to all central and local public institutions, economic operators, operating in private office buildings, to be allowed only to people who provide proof of vaccination, passing through illness in the last 180 days or testing;
  • enabling the Ministry of Education to issue the ministerial order regarding the modification of the structure of the 2021-2022 school year;
  • establishing the obligation to wear a protective mask, in all closed and open public spaces, as well as at the workplace and in public transport.

Night quarantine is imposed but travel exceptions for:

  • the movement of persons who are vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus and for whom 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination scheme, i.e. persons who are between the 15th day and the 180th day after the confirmation of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
  • the movement of people in professional interest, including between home/household and the place/places of professional activity and back.
  • the movement of people for medical assistance that cannot be postponed or carried out remotely, as well as for the purchase of medicines.
  • travel outside the localities for people who are in transit or make trips whose time interval overlaps with the period of the ban, such as those made by plane, train, coach or other means of passenger transport, and which can be proven by ticket or any other way of paying for the trip.
  • the movement of people for justified reasons, such as vaccination, child care/accompanying, assistance to the elderly, sick or disabled or the death of a family member.

And finally, the mask should not be worn by:

  • children under the age of 5;
  • people who are alone in the office;
  • TV presenters and their guests, provided that the distance of 3 meters between people is respected;
  • representatives of religious cults, during services, provided that the distance of 3 meters between people is respected;
  • people who carry out intense physical activities and/or in demanding working conditions (high temperatures, high humidity, etc.) or sports activities.
