The Ministry of Health has extended the deadline for picking up meal vouchers from vaccination centers for people with the complete vaccination schedule from 60 days to 6 months, by an Order of the interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila.
The measure was taken to continue the vaccination activity in optimal conditions, but also because of delays in the delivery of tickets to the population.
In September 2021, the Ministry of Health established the methodology for granting the food allowance in the form of meal vouchers to people who are vaccinated with the full vaccination scheme against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
According to it, people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 with the full scheme benefit from a food allowance worth 100 lei, in the form of 5 meal vouchers.
In October 2021, the interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, approved the addition of funds for the purchase of meal vouchers with the amount of 13 million lei.
