The Romanian government has published a new report on the infections registered in Romania in the last week, and as you can see below, the authorities say that 88.8% of the deaths registered in the last 7 days are among unvaccinated people.
The Romanian government recommends all Romanians to protect themselves as best they can against a possible infection during this period, so it is good to be very attentive to the messages from the authorities.
"COVID-19 - INSP report: 88.8% of the deaths recorded in the week of November 15 - 21 were among unvaccinated people.
In the week of November 15 – 21, 2021, 70.7% of confirmed cases were registered in unvaccinated people;
88.8% of the registered deaths were among unvaccinated people.
From the beginning of the pandemic until now:
- 1 out of 101 of the total cases was registered with medical personnel.
- 85.8% of all deaths were in people over 60 and 55% of deaths were in men.
- 93.1% of deceased persons had at least one associated comorbidity.
We must protect vulnerable people!
Only through responsibility can we return to normality!
The simplest and most accessible method by which we can defeat the virus remains vaccination.
By vaccination against COVID-19:
- the risk of infection is reduced;
- the risk of virus transmission is reduced;
- the risk of hospitalization is considerably reduced;
- the risk of death is considerably reduced."
