ING Bank has issued a very serious warning to all its customers throughout Romania, one that they should know about right now because they are being targeted because of a problem that seems to have no end. According to ING Bank, customers from all over Romania must be extremely attentive to HomeBank authentication notifications and should not listen to them if they are not initiated by them because they can give attackers access to their data.
ING Bank says that through messages of this kind, Romanian clients are tricked into giving attackers access to their internet or mobile banking accounts. ING Bank says that messages like this are sent to customers only when a device that has not been authorized to connect to our account is used to log in, so at that point it is clear that our login data was compromises.
