Romanian Post: Caution regarding Arbidol parcels

Romanian Post Warning regarding packages with Arbidol

The Romanian Post is sending a very important message to Romanians all over the country, and this is because it will not allow the collection of parcels containing the medicine ARBIDOL, but it will not return the parcels to the sender either, based on the legislation of our country.

The Romanian Post explains below why this is happening, but also the fact that no compensation will be granted, and this is because this medicine is not authorized in Romania to be used or distributed, so it is confiscated by the authorities.

"The Romanian Post informs that postal items arriving in Romania, which contain the drug ARBIDOL or other drugs not authorized by the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices in Romania, cannot be released to the recipients nor returned to the senders.
We remind you that, for any package detained by the authorities, based on the legal provisions, no compensation will be granted!

The introduction of medicines into the country by mail is regulated by the Order of the Ministry of Health no. 680, of July 16, 2003, regarding the approval of the procedure for the admission in Romania of medicines arrived with the help of postal parcels from abroad.

We remind you that no compensation will be granted for any package detained by the authorities based on the legal provisions."
