Romania still has many patients admitted to ATI due to COVID-19

Before the 5th wave officially debuts in Romania, the authorities send a final alarm signal by which they try to bring to the attention of the Romanians the fact that the intensive care units have not been emptied of patients, and that there are still people who need professional help, unfortunately.

Romania has hundreds of people hospitalized in the ATI wards at the moment, and they will not be empty too soon because the 5th wave of infections could again bring a lot of people to these wards which can become overcrowded extremely quickly if the number of infections explode in Romania.

"Careful! Images with strong emotional impact!

"The intensive care units are not empty. We have patients in intensive care for 45 days. All patients now are unvaccinated.

At one point I had two patients of the same severity, one vaccinated and one unvaccinated. The vaccinated patient got better and better, and the unvaccinated one got worse. The vaccinated one is now at home, and the unvaccinated one is no longer among us." Dr. Ciprian Gîndac, ATI primary physician
