DIGI Mobil started the year 2022 with a new improvement of the telecommunications network that it offers throughout Romania, and this in the conditions that every month it announces improvements for it, and invests considerable amounts for it.
The operator announced just the other day that it made new changes to the mobile phone network it offers in Romania, without saying very clearly what exactly has changed, but this is not exactly news regarding these changes.
However, the company published the fact that there are changes for the 2G, 3G, 4G mobile networks that it has active throughout the country, with the exception of the 5G one, which has not been improved since 2020. The company continues to invest in its mobile phone networks because it constantly increases the number of customers, so in the end the company is obliged to offer quality services to keep those customers in the network.
How much money is invested for the maintenance and improvement of the telecommunications networks that the DIGI group has, is not known very clearly, but the operator manages to boast of better and better coverage every year.
Unfortunately, the improvements are limited only to the expansion of the network coverage, not to a solution of the problems regarding the performances offered by the telecommunications infrastructure that the telecommunications group has.
In this idea, although customers come enthusiastically to the operator, unfortunately they do not benefit from as good performance as in networks such as Orange or Vodafone, but of course the price of the services they benefit from is much lower. It is expected that these investments made in the telecommunications infrastructure of the group will continue during 2022, but it is not known to what extent, especially since the development of the 5G network has been blocked for almost 2 years, unfortunately.
