Windows 10: WARNING People, Serious Problem for PCs

Windows 10 WARNING People Serious PC Problem

Windows 10 is again at the center of an extremely serious warning for millions of people around the world, and this is because we are talking about a new very serious problem that many of those who use the operating system should know about at the moment.

Windows 10 is at the center of a warning issued due to a new series of malware attacks, only this time the problem is centered on the fact that public cloud infrastructure is used for distribution.

We are talking about the Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS servers that are used to distribute malware in people's PCs all over the world, and here lies the huge problem that many people are facing.

According to some IT security experts, the Nanocore, Netwire, and AsyncRAT malware are distributed through the public cloud infrastructure of these very popular services, all designed to facilitate remote access to computers.

The attackers use the infrastructure of these companies on the one hand to give more legitimacy to the attacks, and on the other hand because it is available globally with servers capable of supporting any kind of traffic that may be needed.

According to those from Cisco, the cyber attacks for spreading these types of malware were based on emails with malicious files, whether it was about PDFs or archives in zip format.

When a computer accesses a file of this kind, it is automatically infected, so that the attackers gain access to information, but also have the possibility to control what happens in the respective device through remote commands.

These types of attacks are very far from new, which is not exactly a surprise, but what is surprising is the way everything is carried out, that is, the use of public cloud infrastructure for distribution.

Of course, Microsoft and Amazon constantly try to detect attacks of this kind in order to stop them, but they do not always succeed in doing this to ensure that their servers are not used for malicious purposes by unknown attackers.
