The coronavirus generates daily new records of infections all over the world, unfortunately including in Romania, where yesterday we had a new maximum figure since the beginning of the pandemic, in 2020, until now, and today, January 26, 2022, we have a new record number of infections, as the authorities have been announcing for some time.
This week, the coronavirus will generate almost 30.000 daily infections for several days, according to estimates made by public health experts, and this in the conditions where they say that there is a small number of patients in hospitals, however, including in intensive care, where the biggest problems are usually.
This whole situation did not have any impact on the vaccination campaign, which remains at a very low level, unfortunately, so it is expected that things will not improve too soon, which could bring us until the summer a possible wave of infections, perhaps still based on the Omicron variant, if not on a new one.
