The incidence rates for COVID-19 continue to increase significantly in Romania, and this in the conditions where the number of new cases has registered an explosion recently, all because of the Omicron variant, which is much more contagious and generates a lot of infections among people .
In many counties in Romania, incidence rates of over 3/1000 inhabitants are registered, in some even over 6/1000 inhabitants, and with the infection records from the last period, it is easy to understand why we can expect that these figures to grow substantially in the next period.
