The state of crisis could succeed the state of alert, according to a draft law that would be adopted by the Romanian Parliament, it being currently finalized by the Romanian Government, which will propose it for adoption sometime this month.
The state of crisis could be introduced in Romania if the country were to face situations that could affect the living conditions of citizens, the political situation, etc., and as part of it, some structures of the Ministry of National Defense would come under the management NATO, or of other foreign armed forces on the territory of our country.
The state of emergency will be instituted at the proposal of the Minister of Defense, with the approval of the Prime Minister, but only if it is also approved by the CSAT, so it is not easy to implement without going through several stages of verification before making a decision.
