MAI Warns Regarding Uncontrolled Burning of Plant Remains

The MAI warns Romanians from all over the country not to cause uncontrolled burning of vegetable remains, something that unfortunately has generated no less than 4.400 fires throughout the country in the last few days, but also two loss of human life.

The Romanian authorities explain below how Romania was affected by these uncontrolled burnings in Romania, insisting on stopping these methods that do nothing good for Romanians.

"In the last 7 days:

  • over 4.400 fires due to uncontrolled burning;
  • two people lost their lives;
  • 41.000 hectares of land affected;
  • 1.400 hectares of forests destroyed;

Please STOP THE LAND FIRES!

Spring cleaning is not done by uncontrolled burning of plant debris.

You risk setting your homes on fire and endangering people's lives."
