DACIA Duster is by far one of the most popular SUVs in Europe at the moment, this is thanks to the very good price it has, but although the car offers a lot for the money asked for it, there is still a special model which many customers would like. I'm talking about an electric version of the DACIA Duster, a car that has been rumored for a long time for launch, but which still remains far from the eyes of the Romanian company's customers.
DACIA Duster will more than likely be launched in a 100% electric version in the not too distant future, but until then we see a generation 1, or current model, modified to be 100% electric, the car being used for tests by Alpine. Those from Alpine are preparing for 2025 the launch of a 100% electric SUV, but now they are testing it on a DACIA Duster modified to work only with electric propulsion.

The DACIA Duster you see in the images below is a normal car, which runs on fuel, but which has been modified to run on electricity only, something we will see officially from the company in the future. Meanwhile, this exclusive, perhaps even unique, model of the DACIA Duster is being tested by Alpine to see how well their technologies withstand low temperatures of use, which is very important for an SUV.
DACIA Duster is not yet made on the Renault CMF platform, but the new Alpine SUV will be manufactured on its basis, so perhaps from many points of view the choice of the Romanian car for these tests has a logic. Of course, the future electric DACIA Duster, regardless of when it will be launched, will not look like this, but will have a much different design, but even so, you can get an idea of how such an SUV can be modified.
DACIA Duster still records very good sales in Europe, and this is perfectly normal if we think about how popular the car is based on the low selling price, so it remains only to see how big the novelties will be for the 3rd generation.
