Formula 1 started a few weeks ago, and Lewis Hamilton still does not have the success he was expecting, so he announced an emergency measure that he will apply to ensure a good course. More specifically, Lewis Hamilton announced that he will organize a series of calls via Zoom to talk with the Mercedes team engineers and find solutions for the German manufacturer's new car to work at maximum performance.
Formula 1 is a very intense competition, and Lewis Hamilton did not manage to win any of the first races because the car that Mercedes made available to him has a lot of problems. They are so big that Lewis Hamilton is trying to solve the most important ones as quickly as possible, so he decided to schedule a series of video calls with the Mercedes engineers to start repairing the deficiencies that prevent him from win races.
Formula 1 currently has Charles Le Clerc as the championship leader, Lewis Hamilton being no less than 43 points behind him, so he needs major improvements for the Mercedes car right now. In this idea, Lewis Hamilton talks with Mercedes, the company's sponsors, and not only, so that everyone contributes ideas to improve the Formula 1 car as quickly as possible, and he has real chances to win this championship.
"There is a lot of work and there will be many calls, of course. I'm on a lot of Zoom calls with all of our sponsors and bosses, really trying to get them together. We have some improvements to make. And we need everyone's support to do this, just to make sure we leave no stone unturned.
It's making sure the hunger is really there and we're absolutely maximizing every moment. I watch the people that are in the wind tunnel, the aerodynamic guys and I just look at absolutely every area. There is performance to be gained in the areas we know.”
Formula 1 had a series of very important new rules imposed by the FIA for this new season, and this brought a new car from Mercedes for Lewis Hamilton and George Russel. The changes were so big, however, that the car was still not made without problems, so now everyone is trying to solve them on the fly, while Lewis Hamilton loses Formula 1 races, and collects few points compared to what what would normally have been obtained.
Formula 1 will continue in the coming months, this is as certain as possible, but it remains to be seen to what extent the improvements made to the Mercedes cars will be ready in time for Lewis Hamilton.
