Alexandru Rafila: Last-minute measures, the Plan for Millions of Romanians

Alexandru Rafila announced a series of very important new measures for millions of Romanians from all over Romania, and this is because a plan was designed through which pharmacies in our country can be used for various new programs aimed at informing people about health them, and not only.

Alexandru Rafila says that pharmacies can play an extremely important role in improving public health in Romania in the coming years, and that he is trying to implement his ideas together with the pharmacies that are, and will be, active in Romania in the coming years. days.

"I think that the pharmacy, in general, is a place where we can carry out many activities favorable to public health, from information, education, involvement and vaccination, there are models, at least in terms of flu vaccination, in other countries, and we can makes such models including in Romania.

We should transform a so-called competition between various medical service providers into a partnership that leads to the best possible collaboration in the interest of people's health. I think this is what we should do, and I think it's good that there has been a constant interest for several years from the professional organization of pharmacists to contribute to this endeavor.

We discuss a lot about the preventive policies that should be the basis of the health policies in Romania, to make the health system sustainable on the one hand, to reduce the number of years of life with the disease, and of course to provide well-being to the Romanian population , as proposed by the UN within the framework of sustainable development objectives.

Objective 3 refers to ensuring a state of well-being and health for all citizens of the planet. It was a test in pharmacies for infection with the new Coronavirus. It was good that I started such a program, even if it was not very extensive, you always have to start somewhere. I think that the pharmacy would be a very good place because it is frequented regularly by many people.

People can receive information about the screening programs, not just general information, even somewhat specific information: when the screening takes place, where it takes place, if we refer to certain specially dedicated programs. I hope to have the opportunity of a meeting with the president of the College of Pharmacists from Romania, and to find the best way to collaborate."
