DNSC alerts Romanians from all over the country about a new phishing campaign that is in full swing this Easter period, its purpose being to extract as much information as possible from the victims, especially those regarding bank accounts, and not only that.
DNSC tells us below how we can protect ourselves from problems of this kind during this period, and it is important to know what we should do to be safe, and not to have very important data stolen.
"The Directorate team wishes you happy holidays and urges attention regarding the messages received these days! Avoid accessing links from unknown sources.
Some users have already received sms written incorrectly in Romanian, which contain malicious links, redirecting the user to compromised sites.
The main goal of attackers is to extract sensitive data (personal, financial and authentication) from potential victims. Do not provide such data upon request after accessing links from dubious sources.”
