"May 10, 2022 is the new deadline for submitting offers for the construction of the 4 Sections of the Buzău-Focșani Highway (A7 Sector - Moldova Highway)! CNAIR responded to more than 600 requests for clarification, and the auction was resumed.
The construction of the 4 sections of the Buzău-Focșani Highway (82,44 km) is financed by PNRR. Section 1 (4,60 km): Buzău -Vadu Pașii, Section 2 (30,80 km): Vadu Pașii – Râmnicu Sărat, Section 3 (36,10 km): Râmnicu Sărat – Mândrești Munteni, Section 4 (10,94 km): Mândrești Munteni – Focșani Nord The companies that will win these contracts must complete the construction in 20 months for Sections 1 and 4 and in 26 months for Sections 2 and 3.
We are starting the recruitment of high-performing management teams for all the companies under the coordination of the Ministry of Transport! We signed the Framework Agreement with the two companies that will recruit the members of the Boards of Directors. The recruitment process will be carried out in competition between the two winning companies.
The selection of candidates will take place transparently, in accordance with the provisions of GEO 109/2011 / Law 111/2016 on the corporate governance of public enterprises. I want to build professional management teams, with mandates of 4 years, to ensure continuity in the management of companies. This will increase the absorption of European funds, but also increase the financial efficiency of companies! This way we can recover the gaps from which the infrastructure in Romania now suffers.
The deadline by which bids can be submitted for the design and execution of Lot 2 (sections E and D) of the Lugoj-Deva highway is June 9, 2022. CNAIR submitted the tender notice for publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. After publication on this platform, the documentation will be viewable in SICAP. In the evaluation of the offers, the ability of the contractors to complete the contract as quickly as possible will also be scored. The winner of the contract will design and construct including bored tunnels with a total length of 2,13 km on section E and complete the work on section D. The highway sector put out to tender is 9,13 km long and is financed by PNRR. "
