The Air, Naval and Special Operations Forces of the Romanian Army recently participated in Trojan Footprint 22, which the authorities describe as one of the most complex military training activities in Romania, all to maintain their ability to participate in missions.

The Romanian Army presents in the video clip below how this military exercise was carried out on board the minesweeper Vice Admiral Constantin Bălescu, the exercise being carried out jointly with operators from the USA, Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

One of the most complex military training activities of the Romanian Special Operations Forces took place on Monday, May 9, on board the mine and net carrier "Vice Admiral Constantin Bălescu".

Operators from the Romanian Special Operations Naval Forces🇷🇴, together with operators from the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, conducted a direct action sequence on a moving target ship, represented by the minesweeper "Vice Admiral Constantin Bălescu", during the Trojan Footprint 22 exercise.

The FOS soldiers acted at sea but also from the air from aboard an IAR-330 Puma helicopter from the 57th Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base.

Exercise Trojan Footprint 22 is planned and coordinated by the United States Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) and will provide participating units with the opportunity to test and demonstrate multi-domain tactics, techniques and procedures involving distinctive professional skill sets soldiers from the land, air and naval Special Operations Forces.
