Minister of Health Last Minute Decisions Very Important Changes Romania

The Minister of Health announced a series of very important decisions that were adopted by the Government of Romania, and that bring changes for our country, more precisely we are talking about increases for health personnel, but also the interconnection with international institutions regarding stem cell donation.

The Minister of Health adopted these very important decisions for the good of Romanians, and this because both will have an impact on the quality of the health act in Romania, but of course it takes time and patience for these changes to be felt in our country, so not they will be visible immediately.

"At the proposal of the Ministry of Health, the Government of Romania approved today, 25.05.2022, the draft Decision on the amendment of the Framework Regulation on the establishment of jobs, categories of personnel, the specific amount of the increase for working conditions provided for in annex no. II to Framework Law no. 153/2017 regarding the remuneration of staff paid from public funds, as well as the conditions for granting it, for the occupational family of budgetary functions "Health and social assistance", approved by Government Decision no. 153/2018.

This normative act creates the legal framework for financial compensation of the risks to which medical and sanitary specialist personnel and auxiliary health personnel from health units that care for patients diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus are subject, during the period of epidemiological risk situations and biological provided in art. 6 of Law 136/2020.

Thus, the increase for particularly dangerous working conditions is granted in a percentage from 55% to 85%, to the specialized medical and sanitary personnel and auxiliary sanitary personnel from the sanitary units who are directly involved in the transport, collection of biological samples/rapid testing, evaluation , the diagnosis and treatment of suspected and confirmed patients with COVID-19 during the epidemiological and biological risk situations provided for in art. 6 of Law no. 136/2020 regarding the establishment of measures in the field of public health in situations of epidemiological and biological risk, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions.

At the proposal of the Ministry of Health, the Government of Romania approved today, 25.05.2022, the draft Government Decision on the approval of the payment of contributions and taxes for the interconnection with similar international institutions in the field of voluntary donors of hematopoietic stem cells, as well as for the accreditation of immunogenetic laboratories and histocompatibility, in the year 2022.

The normative act approves the sum of 8.823 euros for the payment of this year's contributions and tax, in order to interconnect the National Register of Voluntary Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donors (RNDVCSH) with similar international institutions, as well as for the accreditation of immunogenetic and histocompatibility laboratories."
