Orange Official Information Prices REDUCE MILLIONS of Customers

Orange has started to notify its customers from all over Romania about one of the very important changes that will be made in the next period for them, and the news is extremely good for millions of people who use its services. More precisely, the people from Orange tell all customers in Romania that starting from July 1, 2022, the European Roaming Regulation will be changed, and the tariffs will be reduced for everyone, with details in this page.

Orange says that starting with that date, the costs for 1 GB of internet in roaming will be reduced from 2.9 euros to 2.38 euros, VAT included, and this means that the allocation we have based on the subscription or prepaid offer will increase. You can also see that the tariffs for telephone calls will also be increased, they will be 0,026 euro per minute for calls to the EEA and 0,0065 euro per minute for calls received in the EEA.

Orange announces the reduction of roaming prices starting on July 1, 2022

Orange also says that in the case of SMS, the price per SMS will drop to 0,0047 euros per SMS, and the price per MB of traffic consumed in roaming will drop to 0,00238 euros, a value that will allow us to consume much more traffic than usual. Orange also says that it has completed the clauses related to the quality of services enjoyed by customers in roaming, but also those regarding access to premium services in roaming.

"Good news! From 1.7.2022, according to the new European Roaming Regulation, the net limit available in EEA roaming without additional cost will increase, and the tariff for additional internet consumption in the EEA will decrease from 2,9 euros/GB to 2,38 euros/GB (VAT included).

The rates for violating the reasonable use policy will also be reduced, as follows (in euros with VAT): 0,026/min for calls to the EEA, 0,0065/min for incoming calls, 0,0047/SMS, 0,00238/MB. In addition, we have completed the clauses regarding the quality of roaming services and access to premium roaming services so that you are better informed."

Orange is not the only telecommunications operator in Romania making changes of this kind during this period, and this is because the regulations should apply at European level, so all telecommunications companies should do the same.
