Coronavirus este prezent in continuare in Romania, autoritatile din tara noastra confirmand in fiecare zi infectari noi in randul romanilor din diverse zone ale tarii, iar asta pentru ca varianta Omicron inca se raspandeste rapid in randul oamenilor, fiind cu mult mai contagioasa decat versiunile anterioare.
Coronavirus ramane o ingrijorare foarte serioasa inclusiv in alte zone din Europa, fiind listate in continuare tari unde sunt zeci de mii de noi infectari confirmate in fiecare zi, iar situatia pare sa fie deocamdata destul de departe de a se stabiliza dincolo de Romania, din pacate pentru noi toti.
Partea buna in Romania este ca pana in toamna nu ar trebui sa mai avem vreun val nou, iar numarul zilnic al infectarilor ar trebui sa scada pana la o valoare la care sa nu mai genereze vreo problema majora pentru sistemul medical din Romania, ceea ce pana la urma toata lumea isi doreste in aceasta perioada foarte complicata.
Cifrele oficiale ale zilei de 28 mai 2022 vor fi anuntate dupa ora 28 mai 2022.

**As for cases from abroad, these are cases of citizens who came to Romania having been infected in other countries. These cases were included in the total of new cases not allocated by county.
Distinct from the newly confirmed cases, following retesting of patients who were already positive, 43 people were reconfirmed positive.
În unitățile sanitare de profil, numărul de persoane internate în secții cu COVID-19 este de 534, cu 34 mai puțin față de ziua anterioară. De asemenea, la ATI sunt internate 83 persoane, cu 2 mai mult decât în ziua anterioară. Dintre cei 83 pacienți internați la ATI, 69 sunt nevaccinați.
Din totalul pacienților internați, 25 sunt minori, toți fiind internați în secții, la fel ca în ziua anterioară și niciun pacient la ATI, la fel ca în ziua anterioară.

Between 27.05.2022 (10:00) and 28.05.2022 (10:00) 1 death (male) was reported by the INSP, with no deaths reported before the reference interval.
The death was registered in the 60-69 age category.
The patient who died had comorbidities and was not vaccinated.
tESTING
In the last 24 hours, 3.526 RT-PCR tests were performed (1.850 based on case definition and medical protocol and 1.676 on request) and 9.880 rapid antigen tests. Until this date, at the national level, 13.108.912 RT-PCR tests and 10.050.404 rapid antigen tests have been processed."
