The European Commission has reached an agreement on a new package of sanctions that will be imposed against Russia following the invasion of Ukraine, and very important decisions have been made regarding oil imports during the next year, which may, of course, have major impact for the future.
The European Commission decided to remove Sberbank from the SWIFT system, 90% of oil imports from Russia will be removed by 2023, but also other measures that are intended to substantially reduce the money that Russia generates, and on which it relies for support the war in Ukraine, details in the video clip below.
