Raiffeisen Bank: Notification for Customers, what measure was applied

Raiffeisen Bank Customer Notification Measure Applied

Raiffeisen Bank sends an important notification to customers all over Romania, and this is because it has decided to implement an important measure for them, one that many people should know about at the moment. We are talking about a decision by Raiffeisen Bank to update the RaiPay application for phones with the Android operating system, which has been offered for some time to customers all over the country through the Google Play Store.

Raiffeisen Bank created the RaiPay application for Android with the idea of allowing them to make payments with the phone when Google Pay was not available in Romania, this being the only solution to do this. Even if things have changed, and Google Pay is also offered by Raiffeisen Bank, the RaiPay application is still available and constantly updated by the bank for its customers.

Raiffeisen Bank: Notification for Customers, what measure was applied

Raiffeisen Bank says that it only made a series of changes aimed at solving the operational problems that the application had discovered, without implementing changes that would bring new functionalities to the application used by Romanians. This means that, in theory, the user experience should be improved, but beyond that, there should theoretically be nothing new for customers, at least not with this update offered now.

Raiffeisen Bank is used to preparing even important changes for its applications through the updates it releases regularly for its customers, but these are not visible until the moment they are officially launched. Many banks work in a similar way, implementing code for future important changes in regular updates, starting to work only when they are officially offered to customers.

Raiffeisen Bank distributes its application for Android phones for free through the Google Play Store, and it is recommended to download it exclusively from there to avoid the risk of installing a version full of malware from another third-party store.
