The WHO sent a very worrying announcement for people in all countries of the world, and warns about an extremely serious danger that exists at the moment and reveals which categories of people have the greatest risk of contracting monkey pox, based on the data which have been provided to the health organization so far.
The WHO says that although in Africa there were no certain categories of people who had a higher risk of contacting smallpox, in Europe or other Western countries, men from gay communities seem to be the ones who are most exposed to the risk of infection. , and this is because in their case, most cases have been detected so far.
The WHO has confirmed that in the case of men who have sexual relations with other men, there is the highest risk of infection, and although cases were also confirmed in women or children, they were very limited in number, and usually it was about contacts of people who have already been infected with this virus.
The WHO is trying to make people understand that anyone is exposed to monkey pox, and even though so far most cases have been discovered in certain communities, anyone can get infected even without having sexual relations with another man, the methods of transmission being multiple.
