Anthony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, will have official talks this week with Sergei Lavrov, the US Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the focus of the meeting will be two American citizens who are illegally detained by Russia, as well as the agreement signed to facilitate exports of grains from Ukraine.
It is interesting that there would not be discussions about the situation of the war in Ukraine because no representative of Ukraine would participate in them, but it remains to be seen if they want to stay away from the most important topic of the moment for the whole world, not only the two countries.
