Russia Threatens the USA with Severing Diplomatic Relations, Here's Why

Russia threatened the USA with breaking diplomatic relations if the Americans decide to declare the country as a state that sponsors terrorism, and this because it would be the "last straw" that could "fill the glass" of tensions between the two countries, but this is not the first threat between the two countries.

Russian diplomat Alexander Darchiev stated for the Russian press that the US actions will not go unanswered to his country's declaration, and before the complete break of diplomatic relations between the countries, Russia could reduce the level of collaboration and discussions with the US government, which it would be a radical measure anyway.

Russia launched a variety of threats against the US, and not only, during the war in Ukraine to try to force decisions in its favor, but it rarely got what it wanted, especially when it comes to threats centered on nuclear bombs.

"Russia says that recognizing the US as a state sponsor of terrorism would be a 'point of no return'. Russian diplomat Alexander Darchiev told state-controlled Russian media TASS that in such a case Russia could downgrade or even cut diplomatic ties with the US."
