NATO will increase its presence in Kosovo if there are new incidents with Serbia

NATO has officially announced that if new incidents occur on the border between Kosovo and Serbia, and there is a risk that tensions will escalate, then the military alliance will increase its presence in the region, it already has 4.000 soldiers present there to maintain peace between the two countries, but the number could increase.

Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, made this announcement during a press conference he had with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, so we are talking about new tensions regarding a possible conflict in a country that has a border with Romania, but NATO is very firm on its positions regarding guaranteeing security in Kosovo.

NATO is trying to calm the situation in order not to break out a new conflict separate from the one in Ukraine, a conflict that would leave Romania caught between two countries that are at war, so it remains to be seen how things will unfold in the following days.
