NASA has published a warning regarding 4 asteroids that are approaching the Earth today, one of them at a very small distance compared to the distance at which such cosmic objects normally pass by our planet. We are talking about 4 asteroids that NASA detected as having dimensions between 13 and 28 meters, so they are not small rocks that could cause damage if they entered the planet's atmosphere and hit the ground.
NASA says that an asteroid with a diameter of 23 meters will reach the closest to the Earth, at a distance of only 844.000 kilometers, i.e. just over 2 times the distance between the Earth and the moon, a small and quite dangerous one, if the trajectory would be modified. The other three asteroids will pass at distances between 2.1 million and 7.1 million kilometers in relation to the Earth, in their case NASA having a much lower danger classification, which is as normal as possible, considering the way move these rocks through the universe.
