NATO First Conducted Exercises with B-52 Bombers in Romania

NATO Held Premiere Romania B-52 Bomber Exercises

NATO carried out for the first time in Romania an air exercise that involved the use of US B-52 bombers, the mission being carried out under the command and control of the commanders of the alliance, offensive and defensive maneuvers being carried out together with other countries within the alliance.

NATO has been conducting complex exercises in Europe for some time with various countries within the alliance to increase the interoperability of the countries in the event that they would have to work together to face any threat that could endanger the national security of the countries in that region.

US Air Force B-52 bombers came under #NATO command and control for the first time during a Bomber Task Force training mission over Romania conducting offensive and defensive maneuvers with allied fighters from Greece, France, Italy, Canada Romania.
