Russia Threatens the Republic of Moldova, Sergey Lavrov declared

The Minister of Defense from Moldova Says that Russia Does Not Want to Attack the Country

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, announced that Russia wants to defend the interests of all Russian speakers in Moldova and Transnistria, a promise that the Russians made years ago, including in the case of Ukraine, and we see very well what is happening it is happening now in our neighboring country, unfortunately.

Lavrov's statements come in the context in which the Republic of Moldova is already worried about possible attacks that Russia could launch against it, and statements of this kind do nothing but strengthen even more the feeling of insecurity with which millions live by Moldovans.

"Moscow will make every effort to defend the Russian-speaking population of Moldova.

"The Moldovan leadership would do the right thing if they stopped playing the geopolitical games imposed by the West and thought about the interests of the people who live side by side. We will specifically insist on such an approach."
