Sorin Grindeanu also talks about the fact that several Tarom aircraft will be sent by the Romanian Government to bring to the country the Romanians who were supposed to arrive home with the Blue Air planes, but who were left without transport alternatives after the airline decided to interrupt the races he had scheduled.

"Important investments for Teleorman county in all transport sectors! In the road sector, the construction of the Bucharest – Alexandria High Speed Road (approximately 70 km) is taking shape. At this moment, the Feasibility Study is being developed, based on a contract signed in the spring of this year, and - from 2023 - the design and start of construction of this important road infrastructure project will follow.

In parallel, along with the modernization of DN52, another important objective for MTI is the road infrastructure in Turnu Măgurele Port. More precisely, the quay of this important Danube port will be rebuilt, and the port platforms will be rehabilitated, as will the access road to the Port. Works will also be carried out for: Water supply to ships, water supply for fire fighting, drainage of rainwater through ditches located parallel to the quay.

Through the modernization of the infrastructure related to Turnu Măgurele Port, an increase in the volume of goods from 7 tons to 268.216 tons is estimated in the next 392.000 years. The third special #TAROM flight is set to take off for Larnaca (Cyprus) this evening, around 21.30:97 p.m. local time, for the repatriation of approximately XNUMX Romanian citizens affected by the suspension of Blue Air flights, who have so far signed up on the lists.

The TAROM aircraft has a capacity of 116 seats, which makes it possible to board an additional number of passengers in case there are other requests from people who were affected by the cancellation of Blue Air flights.

Last night TAROM sent a special flight to Tel Aviv (Israel) and tonight it is sending another flight to Heraklion (Greece) to bring Romanian citizens to Romania safely. Thanks to the TAROM crews for their very prompt response and taking on these special missions!”
