Minister of Health Important Measures Officially Confirmed Millions of Romanians

The Minister of Health has taken and announced an extremely important decision that affects millions of Romanians from all over the country at the moment, and this is because, as you can see below, we are talking about a new order that focuses on PNRR and purchases for improving the medical system.

The Minister of Health included in order 2.736, which you have below, provisions for how equipment and materials dedicated to the reduction of nosocomial infections will be bought in hospitals throughout Romania, all thanks to the funds that are available through PNRR for our country.

"Considering the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2.094 of December 14, 2020 establishing a European Union recovery instrument to support the recovery following the crisis caused by COVID-19 and Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of of the European Parliament and of the Council of February 12, 2021 establishing the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, taking into account the provisions of the Government's Emergency Ordinance no. 124/2021 regarding the establishment of the institutional and financial framework for the management of European funds allocated to Romania through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

As well as for the amendment and completion of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 155/2020 regarding some measures for the development of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan necessary for Romania to access reimbursable and non-reimbursable external funds within the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 178/2022, with subsequent additions, also taking into account the provisions of Government Decision no. 209/2022 for the approval of the Methodological Norms for the application of the provisions of the Emergency Ordinance of the Government no. 124/2021 regarding the establishment of the institutional and financial framework for the management of European funds allocated to Romania through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

As well as for the amendment and completion of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 155/2020 regarding some measures for the development of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan necessary for Romania to access reimbursable and non-reimbursable external funds within the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, considering the approval report no. AR 16.300 of 15.09.2022 of the General Directorate for project implementation and monitoring and the Opinion of the Ministry of Investments and European Projects no. 104.130 of 13.09.2022, registered at the Ministry of Health with no. 16.217 of 14.09.2022, based on the provisions of art. 7 para. (4) from Government Decision no. 144/2010 on the organization and operation of the Ministry of Health, with subsequent amendments and additions, the Minister of Health issues the following order:

Article 1 The Beneficiary Guide for the specific investment is approved: I2.4. Equipment and materials intended to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections within pillar V: Health and institutional resilience - component 12: Health - investment I2. The development of the public hospital infrastructure, provided for in the annex*) which is an integral part of this order. *).

The Annex is published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 917 bis, which can be purchased from the Public Relations Center in Sos. Panduri no. 1, bl. P33, ground floor, sector 5, Bucharest. Article 2 The general direction of project implementation and monitoring within the Ministry of Health will carry out the provisions of this order."
