Virgil Popescu announces a very important meeting that took place together with the representatives of the Coalition for the Development of Romania, and this is because a series of very important topics for our country were addressed, including the accession to Schengen, or PNRR.
Virgil Popescu explains below the main topics of discussion that were at the center of the meeting that took place today, with the participation of the Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ciuca, so you can get an idea of what it was discussed between the representatives of the Government and companies from Romania.
"Along with Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă and other colleagues from the Government, I participated in the first meeting with the representatives of the Coalition for the Development of Romania, after the signing of the collaboration agreement in June 2022.
The topics addressed in this meeting were the tax reform, Romania's accession to the Schengen Area, the structural funds and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the protection of vulnerable consumers and consumers who are legal entities, reforms and security at risk.
The delegation of the Coalition for the Development of Romania was formed by representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham), the Association of Romanian Business People (AOAR), the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER), the Employers' Confederation Concordia, of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC), of AHK Romania and of the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation (RBL)."
