The Minister of Education LAST MINUTE Ordinance Measures of National Importance for School Students

The Minister of Education published a very important last-minute announcement in which he presents to millions of students and parents from all over the country what would be a new Emergency Ordinance that would bring a series of very important changes in our country, 7 being explained below by the government official for Romanians in the country.

The Minister of Education talks about increasing the number of schools where "Hot Meals" are offered, about funding for the transportation of students to schools in other localities, offering financial incentives to students with a grade of 10 in the National and Baccalaureate Assessment, and not only that.

1. Today, September 29, 2022, the draft Emergency Ordinance granting food support for preschoolers and students in 100 more pre-university education units was finalized, published on the website of the Ministry of Education and is on the interministerial approval circuit state. Thus, the number of schools financed through the "Hot Meal" Program increases to 450, being 3 times higher than in previous years.

2. Today, September 29, 2022, the draft Emergency Ordinance for the amendment and completion of the National Education Law no. 1/2011- transportation of students schooled in a locality other than the one of residence.

3. Today, September 29, 2022, the draft Government Decision on the granting of financial incentives to graduates who obtained an average of 10 in the National Assessment for VIII grade graduates was completed, published on the website of the Ministry of Education and is on the interministerial approval circuit -a (2022 session) and at the national baccalaureate exam (June-July 2022 session).

4. Today, September 29, 2022 (within the assumed deadline of September 30, 2022), the last four ministerial orders were also signed which represent PNRR commitments in the field of education - milestone 470, Component 15 - and which are essential for the support and development of dual education.

5. Today, September 29, 2022, the interview sample of the competition for the positions of director and deputy director in state pre-university education units was completed - the third session. For the 1.738 vacant positions of directors/deputy directors, published for this competition session, 1.153 valid files were submitted. At the written test, held on September 8, 2022, 921 candidates appeared and 480 passed (52,1%). 6. Tomorrow, September 30, 2022, the reports of the county school inspectorates are expected regarding the estimation of the need to supplement the budgets of schools and kindergartens, so that the staff of schools and kindergartens is not endangered in any way during the cold season.

7. Tomorrow, September 30, 2022, the reports of the county school inspectorates for the equipment needs through the PNRR are expected, as follows: Furniture equipment - worth 300 million euros (minimum 75.000 classrooms); Laboratory equipment - worth 300 million euros (minimum 10.000 laboratories); IT equipment - worth 478,5 million euros: interactive whiteboards are included in every classroom in Romanian schools, IT laboratories in every school and 1.100 SmartLabs in high schools; Equipping practice workshops in high schools and vocational schools in the amount of 90,9 million euros; IT equipment in high schools and vocational schools worth 16.36 million euros.
