CEC Bank, one of the largest banks in Romania, is sending an urgent announcement to its customers from all over the country that should reach everyone's attention immediately, and this is because it tells them that at the moment the Mobile Banking service is unavailable for use, but that the situation is temporary.
CEC Bank issued this urgent announcement a few tens of minutes ago, and the problem has not yet been resolved, so no one knows how long it could take until things could return to normal, so we have to be more patient for to be able to continue using everything.
According to the bank, CEC allows us to use its mobile banking service directly from the application for iPhone and Android, so no matter which one you have installed on your phones, it is good to know that you will not be able to use the functions that are available, and you must use the internet banking platform.
CEC explains on its website that the rest of its services are functional at the moment, including when it comes to ATMs, or card payments at merchants, so theoretically we should talk about a minimal impact for the use of services on which the bank currently offers for all of us.
The Mobile Banking service is temporarily unavailable. We are working on fixing the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience. Card and counter transactions are not affected.
