Facebook Messenger is getting a new update today, with the app for phones and tablets now available in a new version that anyone can enjoy.
Facebook Messenger has a number of minor changes implemented by Facebook for us.

This release includes: Fixes for crashes in messaging experiences. Performance improvements to eliminate latency in some of our core experiences.”
Facebook Messenger is available for free download through the App Store and Google Play Store.
