Minister of Education Announcements LAST TIME Measures Students Schools Romania

The Minister of Education has made an important official announcement for Romania, and this is because he is talking to Romanians from all over the country about an extremely important decision that has been taken, namely the participation in a meeting with the representatives of trade union federations in pre-university education to discuss problems of the system educational.

The Minister of Education also talks about the decision to meet with the awarded students at the Balkan Informatics Olympiad for seniors, during this meeting discussing with them proposals to improve the education system, so that the students have better performances at the Olympiads in future.

"It was a great joy to talk today, at the Ministry of Education, with the award-winning students at the Balkan Informatics Olympiad for seniors. I had a direct, relaxed, mature dialogue, a perfect opportunity to listen to the valuable proposals from the students and tutors.

I was most impressed by the desire of a young man who said, with all conviction, that he wanted the performance to become accessible to every child. With this thought in mind, I once again thank the students, teachers and their parents for their hard work, dedication and strength to take education to the level of performance!

Today, October 18, Minister Ligia Deca met with the delegations of the Federation of Trade Unions in Education "Spiru Haret" and the Federation of Free Trade Unions in Education (FSLI).

The topics addressed were: the malfunctions generated by the Edusal application in the application of GEO 48/2022, the solution of the problems regarding nurseries (in this sense, the participants in the discussions decided to set up a working group to identify solutions for the problems communicated by the representative trade union organizations) and the project of the law on pre-university education.

On behalf of the trade union federations, the following participated: Marius Ovidiu Nistor (president) and Ionel Barbu (general secretary) - FSE "Spiru Haret", respectively Simion Hancescu (president), Cornelia Popa Stavri (general secretary) and George Purcaru (first vice-president) – FSLI. The Ministry of Education will analyze the proposals received and will subsequently organize a new round of discussions with the trade union federations in pre-university education."
