Germany confirms that it will train 5.000 Ukrainian soldiers in the coming period

Germany follows the same path as its European partners, so it has decided to train no less than 5.000 Ukrainian soldiers who will return to fight on the front in Ukraine following preparations that will take place somewhere in Germany, according to a statement made by Prime Minister Olaf Scholz.

Germany has been very hesitant to offer military aid to Ukraine in recent months, but things changed this fall after Russia began attacking more civilian targets and killing more people, and it is possible that more aid to be offered in the not too distant future.

"Germany will train 5.000 Ukrainian soldiers by spring. The training will take place within the Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine, which aims to train approximately 15.000 Ukrainian soldiers, AP reports, citing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"Through this, we emphasize our readiness to participate in the long-term building of strong Ukrainian armed forces, hand in hand with our partners," Scholz said."
