DACIA Sandero 4, the next generation of the car that is proving to be so popular in Europe, has now revealed the first details about its launch, and the news is surprisingly good for all those interested in the car. More precisely, it seems that DACIA wants to offer a version of the DACIA Sandero 4 that also works on the basis of an electric motor, not only on an internal combustion engine, even if that will happen in a few years.
The DACIA Sandero 4 will continue to be offered with a petrol engine, most likely, but it will be inspired by the Renault 5 when it comes to hybridisation, and this is because there will also be a version of this type, before it is made moving to a possible electric version. According to the general manager of DACIA, Denis Le Vot, the DACIA Sandero 4 would be launched in the second part of this decade, and it will have an ePT-100 kW electric motor, just like the Renault 4 and Renault 5.

The DACIA Sandero 4 could be available in a new version from 2027, when the transition to Euro 7 will be made for new cars launched in Europe, and this means that it will be offered with a new engine, probably a 1.2 liter one, which will also works with LPG. It is not excluded that then a mild-hybryd version of the DACIA Sandero 4 will be launched, especially since this engine is already used on some Renault cars, and would be integrated into the Clio 6 from 2026.
DACIA Sandero 4 will make the transition to the hybrid version, and then to electric, later than Jogger (2023), or even Duster 3, and this because a hybrid version of the SUV is expected somewhere around 2024, or even 2025. DACIA Sandero 4 has announced these changes because it is a car that enjoys surprising success in Europe, but it is not known what will happen to Logan, whose sales have dropped substantially in recent years.
DACIA Sandero 4 clearly has a future within DACIA, just like Duster, Jogger, Spring, or Bigster, but as far as Logan is concerned there is not much information, even if it is improbable that the car will not also benefit from similar changes.
