Yahoo! Mail, one of the largest email platforms in the world, has launched a major update for the application available on phones and tablets, it comes with a lot of news, as you can see below, the application can be downloaded for free through the App Store and the Google Play Store.
We're releasing a new version of the Yahoo Mail app with a refreshed design and features that help you find what you need, when you need it:
- Updated navigation helps you find what you're looking for quickly. New filters at the top of your inbox let you sort your emails by attachments, starred, unread, people and travel. At the bottom you'll find views for all your receipts, shopping emails, mailing list subscriptions, contacts, and more.
- Managing your inbox just got easier. Now you can sort by date or sender, and select up to 10.000 emails at a time to delete, mark as read or unread, or move to a folder. Tap the Edit button in the inbox to start triage.
- The popular Receipts view got an upgrade! In addition to showing all emailed receipts, there is now a "Packages" tab that lists all upcoming and past deliveries so you can easily track the status without having to dig through your inbox.
- Free trial reminders in our updated Receipts view track the free trials you've signed up for and remind you before they end.
- The Shopping view helps you find the best retail and promotional emails in your inbox. Now you can sort by favorites, brand, product type and more. Plus, quickly see particularly great deals or expiring deals highlighted in the Deals section. There's also a new Gift Cards section that shows all the gift cards that have been emailed to you so you don't forget to use them, like that free money you just found.
