E.ON, a company with millions of customers in Romania that benefits from electricity and natural gas supply services, informs customers from all regions of Romania about some of the most important obligations they have when it comes to supplying of natural gas services.

E.ON explains below all the obligations that a customer who benefits from the company's natural gas delivery has, and this is because, from a legal point of view, all Romanians have a series of obligations that they must strictly comply with to enjoy these services offered by the company.

The obligations that the people from E.ON Romania list below for all Romanians in the country are strict, and are applied in this way by the company and the authorities, so you must respect them, if you want to continue to benefit from the supply of natural gas by this company, or even others.

E.ON Romania has on its website all the complete information about what it means to supply natural gas to customers all over the country, so if you want to know more about everything you should do, then don't ignore the information that the company is giving you now.

As a gas consumer, you are responsible for the proper functioning of the usage installation, from the regulator and meter to the natural gas usage device. Therefore, you are obliged to ensure: carrying out periodic technical checks - once every 2 years on devices that consume gaseous fuels and on the installation for the use of natural gas.

And the technical review - once every 10 years - according to the legislation in force, at your own expense and only with an economic operator authorized by ANRE. You can find the list of authorized operators on the ANRE website. Likewise, consumers who own gas-consuming appliances in rooms equipped with insulating glass or thicker than 4 mm, are obliged to install a sensor and solenoid valve for the detection of methane gas leaks and interruption of the supply.
