Romanian Police Confiscated 6.5 Tons of Pyrotechnic Articles

The Romanian Police has officially announced the fact that it confiscated 6.5 million pyrotechnic articles as part of an action that took place at the national level, the goal being to not allow the sale of materials that cannot be sold legally in Romania.

The Romanian police also say that they confiscated cigarettes and 580 articles of clothing allegedly counterfeit, warning Romanians to be careful during the New Year with the use of pyrotechnic materials in Romania.

"The police officers from Ilfov started the results based on the national action plan "FIREWORKS". Surely 6,5 tons of pyrotechnics will not end up in commerce, be used, or worse, harm someone from use.

In addition to these materials, 2.350 cigarettes and 580 articles of clothing, likely to be counterfeit, were also found.

The transition into the new year must be an explosive one, figuratively speaking!

Don't support the pyrotechnics trade! Adults and especially children can suffer from them!"
