Romania First NATO meeting in Bucharest for our country

Romania will be the host of the first high-level NATO meeting that takes place in a country from the eastern flank of the alliance, between November 29 and 30, a meeting of representatives from all the alliance countries will take place in Bucharest, and below you can find the details of at the MFA regarding this extremely important event for our country.

There is only one day left until the beginning of the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the #NATO member states, which will take place in #Bucharest, between November 29 and 30, 2022!

The event will be hosted, on behalf of Romania, by the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan #Aurescu, and represents the first high-level NATO meeting held in a state on the Eastern Flank, located in the first line of defense of the Alliance, since the start of the brutal aggression of Russia on Ukraine, on February 24, 2022.

At the Palace of the Parliament, where the meeting will take place, the preparations are in a straight line, and the importance of organizing this meeting and its hosting in Bucharest is also highlighted on the streets of the capital:

  • The Romanian and NATO flags are flown at the Arc de Triomphe and on the main streets of Bucharest;
  • The Reunion logo is displayed on electronic billboards in the city;
  • The Arc de Triomphe is illuminated in blue;
  • In the STB means of transport, an informative material briefly presents the role of NATO - video.
