WHO: Worrying situation with an Alarm Signal for Europe

WHO Worrying situation Alarm signal Europe

The WHO raises a new alarm signal regarding the very worrying situation that is being registered in the European region at the moment, and this is because it brings to the immediate attention of all the countries in the region the fact that, unfortunately, the season of flu infections has started long earlier this year, compared to previous years, but the virus is circulating in parallel with the syncytial virus, but also with the Coronavirus now.

The WHO draws attention to the fact that a simultaneous circulation of the 3 viruses in Europe can put the medical systems of the entire continent under great pressure, the elimination of measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus leaving a free way for the spread of the other viruses that existed in the past years throughout the world.

The WHO says that because of the flu, but also the respiratory syncytial virus, there are more people admitted to hospitals recently, which of course represents a very serious problem for many countries, but the number of admissions could continue to increase as these viruses are spreading, and the Coronavirus is still causing major problems.

The WHO is trying to draw the attention of people and governments around the world to the fact that a lot of vigilance is needed to protect vulnerable people from these threats, something that is of course not easy to achieve, but even so, more involvement is required from the authorities so that the medical systems can withstand.
