Minister of Education: LAST TIME, Announcements of Decisions for Students and Schools throughout Romania

Minister of Education LAST TIME Announcements of Student Decisions Schools All over Romania

The Minister of Education transmits in some last-minute announcements the very important decisions that have been taken for students and schools throughout Romania, decisions that many Romanians should know about, and this is because they will affect the way young people will conduct courses in educational institutions.

The Minister of Education also talks about the very important partnership that the state has with the private sector for the support and improvement of education in Romania, a partnership that dates back years, and which has the sole purpose of helping students to evolve based on what they learn in educational institutions in the country.

"I think that collective efforts are needed more than ever to guarantee all our young people the necessary framework for the development of skills that will meet their need for insertion on the labor market, and in this sense dual education in Romania ensures, and must ensure a predictable professional future to a greater and greater extent.

As you know, the ministry, in its capacity as coordinator of reforms and investments financed by PNRR, recently launched the call for projects for the development of regional consortia for dual education. It is for the first time in history that students from dual education can benefit from a complete educational route that included the university stage.

We wish that through scholarships and other forms of support, they will also attract young people who have limited socio-economic opportunities, which until now have prevented them from accessing higher education, in this transition to university. Practically, through these regional consortia for dual education, the demand and supply of the labor force is completed, and the total financial allocation is a generous one, we are talking about 331 million euros.

The maximum value of a project related to a consortium would be approximately 21 million euros. In practice, we assumed as an indicator the development of at least 10 dual campuses, but the financial allocation is for at least 16, two per development region. The campuses that will be formed represent, practically, the most ambitious project for the development of professional infrastructure with a dual purpose, realized with the private environment, in the last decades.

Practically, according to the methodology for establishing consortia for dual education, we have 4 major categories of mandatory entities in the establishment of campuses, namely: state or private higher education institutions, state or private pre-university education units, accredited, administrative units -territorial, and economic agents. We have introduced the possibility that both high schools and private universities can be part of these consortia, because we must recognize the important contribution that the private educational environment has for the development of education in Romania."
