More precisely, those from BANCA Transilvania have decided to implement a new service called Round Up for clients from all over Romania, its purpose being to help people save more easily the money they have in their accounts.
BANCA Transilvania implemented this service quite a long time after ING Bank implemented something similar for its customers, and the idea behind it is pretty much the same. Practically, with the Round Up service, BANCA Transilvania customers can save money when shopping, and everything based on a savings multiple, which can be set to 1 LEU, 5 LEI, 10 LEI, customers having the opportunity to choose what the value is this one, in the end.

BANCA Transilvania allows us to select from BT Pay accounts, or those for its internet banking platforms, which is the multiple, and for each payment we make, an amount of money will be deposited into the Round Up account. Basically, if we choose a multiple of 5, if we buy something from a store worth 22 LEI, 3 LEI will be deposited in the Round Up account as the savings we want to make, and they will be available there for us .
