Minister of Health: LAST-MINUTE Notification for the Attention of Millions of Romanians in the Country

Minister of Health LAST HOUR Notice Attention Millions of Romanians Country

The Minister of Health informs Romanians from all over the country about one of the most important measures that they can take at the moment, and about which many may not have known, they can deduct from taxes the amount of 400 euros for to pay for private medical services in Romania.

The Minister of Health also talks about how the medical system for treating emergencies must be restructured, so that Romanians have pre-hospital medical units to go to for problems that are not urgent, but for which they now go to emergency units.

"Let's not forget that we have a system of deductibility, and this system means that instead of paying tax for a certain amount of money, you can use that amount of money to have additional health insurance. Unfortunately, many of our fellow citizens do not use this money that they have at their disposal.

I don't think it would be a bad thing as through the tax system in Romania, which exists at the moment, and I think that the deductibility is 400 euros per year, for each employed person, they could make the subject of an additional insurance that would provide additional services that are not part of the basic package, or access to co-paid services.

We currently have the following problem, and this is what all the evaluations made on the sanitary system in Romania say. There are long periods of time during the week, on the weekend, when people who have a health problem have nowhere to go, they have no medical assistance area. The only area of this kind is available at the emergency reception units or compartments.

There, according to the statistics, between 75% - 85% of the presentations at emergency receptions are code green or yellow, that is, they are not actually urgent that must be taken over in a unit of this kind. I recently went to Spain, there was a joint government meeting, and I discussed this topic extensively with the counterpart there, and in Spain there are pre-hospital emergency units that serve these patients.

They work in 2 shifts, they also work on Saturdays, serving patients who have health problems, who should not go to the hospital, but who need a consultation. The great advantage is that you bring the medical services closer to the patients, you can serve a larger number of people easily and more quickly, so that we can avoid what is happening now in emergency units, especially in the pediatric area."
