E.ON has published a series of very important announcements for millions of customers from all over Romania, and this is because it brings to everyone's attention the fact that at the moment the ceilings for electricity and natural gas prices will be applied only in certain conditions specially provided by law.
E.ON explains very clearly below how the price cap is applied for the energy supply services it offers to all Romanians, and this is because the new legislation that is currently in force is applied differently for each of the registered consumptions by customers from all over Romania now.
Those from E.ON Romania talk about the various situations in which customers can find themselves when it comes to falling into a certain ceiling price, or another, so we have to look very carefully at all the information that is provided to us to know very clearly how much we are going to pay for what is provided to us.
E.ON Romania has on its website even more detailed information regarding all these capping formulas for electricity and natural gas services, but not only for natural persons, but also for legal persons, or owners' associations, so it is highly recommended to look there at all the existing information.
Law no. 357/2022 of December 13, 2022 brings changes regarding price capping for electricity final customers. From January 1, 2023, the ceiling is set according to consumption as follows: maximum 0,68 lei/kWh, including VAT if: you will consume monthly between 0 and 100 kWh inclusive; maximum 0,80 lei/kWh, including VAT if: you will consume monthly between 100,01 and 255 kWh inclusive; maximum 1,30 lei/kWh, including VAT if: you will consume more than 255 kWh monthly.
𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕: If you are in one of the situations described below, you must submit a statement to your supplier E.ON, in order to benefit from a capped price of 0,68 lei/kWh, including VAT. You use devices, apparatus or medical equipment necessary to carry out the treatments. You have at least 3 children up to the age of 18, respectively 26 years old if they are attending a form of education. You represent a single-parent family and have at least one dependent child up to the age of 18, or 26 if they are in education.
