Volodymyr Zelensky published a very important statement after the heavy bombardment that Ukraine felt during this day, Russia launching an impressive number of missiles against several targets on Ukrainian territory.
Volodymyr Zelensky praised the effort made by the Ukrainian army to shoot down 54 missiles and 11 drones launched by Russia, but many others hit the targets they were sent to, and caused serious damage in the country.
"I want to thank our Air Force servicemen, the Ukrainian Air Defense, who successfully repelled another Russian attack today.
54 missiles and 11 attack drones were shot down. Our warriors from all over Ukraine distinguished themselves and thank all our air commands: Central, Southern, Eastern and Western. And especially we are grateful to the warriors of the 96th Kiev, 160th Odessa, 208th Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigades, whose results are the best today.
Unfortunately, there were more hits. Our power engineers and repair crews are doing everything to make Ukrainians feel the consequences of the terrorist strike as little as possible. And thank you to everyone working to restore power.
With each such missile strike, Russia only sinks deeper into a dead end. They have fewer and fewer missiles. Instead, the status of the world's biggest terrorist will have consequences for Russia and its citizens for a long time. And every racket only confirms that all this must end with a court. And that's exactly what will happen.
